The AXIS 70U Network Document Server, connected to an office scanner, allows you to instantly transform printed documents, pictures or forms into digital format and send them to one or several e-mail addresses. It gives you an easy, rapid, safe and cost effective way to distribute paper documents.

Sending paper by e-mail

How do you share articles, sketches or printed forms with your colleagues? E-mail has become the common platform for sharing information electronically. But printed paper documents clearly do not lend themselves to this method. Traditional distribution methods such as fax, regular mail or courier are slow, costly, can result in poor quality images, and can even give rise to security concerns. The AXIS 70U provides you with a cheaper, simpler, faster way to distribute paper documents.

Scanning in 3 simple steps with the AXIS 70U
1. Place a document in the scanning device 2. Select a destination from the distribution list on the control panel or type in a new address on the attached keyboard 3. Press Send. The AXIS 70U automatically generates a document as a PDF attachment to the e-mail. It arrives seconds later at the recipients Inbox.

Adobe PDF 1.2: The created PDF file contains uncompressed or compressed bit images in CCITT G.3/G.4 PackBits (4 bit) or JPEG (24 bit) formats TIFF 6.0: CCITT G.3 and G.4 for bilevel images, PackBits (4 bit) for grayscale images; both single- and multi-page TIFF are supported JPEG File Interchange Format (JFIF) for singlepage color (24 bit) or grayscale (8 bit) images TIFF 4.0 and PackBits for black/white images PCL5 for black/white and color images

Installation
