BIG CAPACITY

Having a bigger drum with more capacity is better for you and your wash. Less creasing: The bigger drums in LG Direct Drive washing machines help to prevent creases and damage caused by excessive rubbing in machines with smaller drums. More washing: Our bigger drums will allow you to do more washing in one load, so saving time, energy and water. Convenience: Having a bigger capacity means you can now save time and money by washing bulky items like curtains, duvets or even quilts. Space efficient: LG washing machines are bigger on the inside but not the outside. LG Steam or non Steam Direct Drive washing machines are the same size as standard machines but have a bigger drum.

SHOWER SPRAY

The Shower Spray is a circulating shower function that repeatedly pumps water from the bottom of the drum to the top where it is sprayed into the drum during the washing and rinsing process. The Shower Spray ensures detergent is completely dissolved, improving wash performance. It significantly reduces water consumption which means less electricity is needed to heat up the water. It reduces running costs, saving on energy and water bills.
NEW DRUM AND WAVED LIFTER DESIGN
Avoid wasteful energy consumption. The drum on LG washing machines has been designed with a surface texture that increases the amount of contact with the fabrics in your wash. This creates a better washing action to remove more dirt and stains. The drum perforations also help to increase the speed of water circulation for more cleaning power and to stop clothes from sticking and creasing at the end of the wash cycle. During a wash cycle, the Waved Lifter feature moves the clothes from the bottom to the top of the drum. This creates a more powerful pounding effect which helps to separate dirt and stains from fabrics and gives your clothes a deeper clean.

STEAM SAVES ENERGY

Conventional machines consume more water than the LG Steam Direct Drive Washer and require more energy to both heat up and circulate. With steam, less energy is needed because a smaller amount of water is used. The dual spray system releases simultaneously steam and water into the drum improving heating efficiency and time. Over the course of one years laundry, this translates to a savings of one months water and energy bills. Thats good for your pocket as well as the environment. LG Steam Direct Drive will reduce energy consumption by as much as 21% when compared to a conventional 8kg capacity washing machine. The machine is energy rated at A++. This is 20% more efficient than the A class standard (0.19 kWh/kg) in the A-G energy rating system.

SPA CLEAN CLOTHES WITH STEAM
Steam is the most intense form of cleaning because steam molecules are 1600 times smaller than water particles allowing them to penetrate right into the fabric and remove far more dirt than a normal wash. Steam Cleaning will remove ingrained dirt from anything giving even the grubbiest sports kit a makeover. Unique Steam refresh function gives you less ironing Weve all been in that situation. You need your clothes cleaned and ironed, but you just dont have the time. Now, thanks to Steam Refresh, you simply place the garments in your machine and 20 minutes later creases and odours are significantly reduced. Rather than use detergent and water, Steam Refresh harnesses the gentle power of steam to remove odours and creases, saving you time and trouble.
BETTER WASHING PERFORMANCE
The tumbling washing action along with the adjustable water temperatures result in a superior washing performance. Steam penetrates deeper into your wash. Steam molecules are smaller than those of water, so steam gets in between fabric fibres. The LG Dryer has a pre-set drying programme to meet; every drying need, including new programmes for hard-to-care-for Wool and Delicates as well as Sportswear (ski and climbing gear) and a new Quick Dry programme. Automated drying levels can be selected under Cottons or Mixed fabrics, all on an easy to use Dial-a-Cycle. Programmes can be supplemented with Crease Care and Time Delay functions amongst others.

The LG Dryer uses Sensor Dry technology, operating in 3 different modes designed specifically for Cotton, Mixed Fabrics and items that need Special Care. Within each of these categories is an array programmes and options that can be used in lots of different combinations to dry even the most difficult items. If none of the preset programmes seems to fit the bill, simply select the more traditional Cool Air or Warm, or be creative and design your own drying programme, saving it as a Favorite.
TIMED DRYING Cool Air, Warm ADDITIONAL OPTIONS GENTLE Select this option when a low temperature is required for extra tender care BUZZER Allows you to select a bleep when items are ready for ironing. Also buzzes the end of the cycle allowing you to remove clothes before they become creased. Can be switched off allowing the LG Dryer to run at night without disturbing your sleep. ANTI CREASE When immediate unloading is impossible and your LG Dryer contains items that crease easily, select the Anti Crease option. The LG Dryer will continue to run intermittently after the cycle has finished, moving the items around and making ironing easier
