Al Mansour Iraqi Co. (MAC Iraq) is a joint venture company with General Motors Corp. equity participation. Appointed in 2003 as the official distributor of GM Products for Iraq, MAC has established operations in Baghdad and Northern Iraq backed by its offices in Dubai. Since its inception, MAC Iraq has sold and delivered more than 18 thousand trucks and passenger vehicles into the Iraqi market. Our Service Commitment By April 2004, 2 fully fledged workshops have been operational in Baghdad fulfilling a complete line of service and repair requirements equipped with Advanced Diagnostic Toolings for GM vehicles. Built on a total land space of 7,000 mtrs these workshop and Replacement parts centres are the largest and most sophisticated in the country. In-country parts availability is further enhanced through daily airfreight through General Motors Middle East Parts Distribution Centre at Dubai with an investment of more than USD 40 Million. To further support GM fleet in Iraq, MAC operates a fleet of mobile workshops for onsite repairs staffed by its highly dedicated and qualified engineers whom have received extensive overseas training in GM University on all GM product line-ups. In addition to our 100+ local staff are supported by 11 expatriate engineers together with on site parts availability. The mobile workshops can be on call to meet field requirements 24/7. Product Availability Recognizing the need to shorten supply chain leadtime, MAC holds inventory of more than 2000 vehicles in Dubai, which gives us the flexibility to deliver vehicles into Iraq within short notice of our customers. At any one time, MAC can prepare vehicles for shipment within 10 working days. Together with our Logistic Provider, customer orders are delivered directly into Iraq. To further shorten delivery lead-time, MAC will be staging inventory at Basra Free Zone and Northern Iraq during first quarter of 2006. Product Portfolio Our existing inventory covers broad spectrum of Chevrolet Trucks, Passenger, and SUVs both in 2WD or 4WD configuration. Engineered to meet harsh Iraqi climatic and terrain conditions, GM vehicles are covered by 3 years or 60,000 km warranty, whichever occurs first.
