BearPaw 1200CU Installation Guide XP
Insert the driver installation CD into your disk drive. Next Plug in your BearPaw 1200 CS scanner into the USB port, you will get a Found New Hardware popup on the screen.
Next you will see the found new hardware wizard screen. Make sure you have selected Install from a list or specific location (advanced). Then click Next
On this screen select "include this location in the search:" Type: Drive:\winxp\ Example: "D:\winxp\" where D is the drive letter, then click Next
Installation is in progress.
Last screen for the hardware installation, click Finish.
Select English, then click ok

Click Next.

Make sure that Typical has a dot next to it and then click Next.

Click Start Install

Installation in progress.
You have the option to select the Hardware Tour at this time, If you select to take the hardware Tour click Yes if you wish to take it later after the installation is done click No.
Here you can Register your scanner or Skip the registration, you can always do the Registration of the scanner anytime after the installation is done. Click Skip to continue.

Click "I Agree"
Type your Name then click Next
Installation of the OCR software is in progress.

Click Next

Click on Full Installation this will guarantee that the OCR software will have full functionality.
Click Go to start installing the OCR software.
Click Skip to continue with the installation, you can go back at anytime after the installation is done to Register the software.
Please insert your Photo Express CD, once the CD has been inserted click "OK"
