The information held in Sage Line 50 is critical to your business, so allowing you to access, analyse and use the information is vital. The new Excel Integrated Reporting feature means that Line 50 now links directly with Microsoft Office. With Purchase Order Processing you automatically generate purchase orders from preferred suppliers for any shortfalls in stock - helping to reduce stock levels and ensure that you always buy at the best price. New improvements to order processing including Goods Dispatch Notes and routines for sales and purchase orders from stock add still further to the efficiency improvements possible using Line 50 Financial Controller.

Too much information is just confusing. These configurable columns allow you to choose just the information you want to see. The Smart Totals feature now means you can quickly sum vital information - for instance quickly looking at a customer account or invoice balance while they are on the telephone, just by clicking the Smart Total. The new feature greatly improves your ability to analyse your financial data quickly - and above all accurately. The Copy Facility and Batch Change capability both help take the effort out of creating new transactions and accounts. A repeat customer order is created simply by selecting the original order and choosing Copy. The Batch Change allows you to apply changes to whole sets of records in a single operation.

Copy and Batch Change Features - New to all variants
Event logging will help you and your accountant to maintain the integrity of your accounts. All critical activities will be logged - such as data re-builds, changes to tax codes, and month-end activities. The user identity will be password protected and logged against each activity, so any changes can be tracked back to ensure their validity. Line 50 Version 11 can now detect if there has been an incorrect shutdown of your PC while it was operating - for example, if there was a power cut. If this is detected then the automatic data checking facility will check the integrity of your files to help ensure against using corrupted data. Trading overseas is a natural way to increase your business possibilities, but can add to the bureaucratic overheads of complying with yet more legislation. Version 11 adds Intrastat support to Financial Controller to ensure that it continues to provide full support for trading overseas.
